Squares and cubes

Squares and cubes

Squares and cubes are mathematical operations used to find the result of multiplying a number by itself multiple times:

- Squaring a number means multiplying it by itself once, i.e., n^2
- Cubing a number means multiplying it by itself twice, i.e., n^3

For example:
- The square of 4 is 4^2 = 4 x4 = 16
- The cube of 3 is 3^3 = 3 x 3 = 27
