On Monday, May 22, 2023, The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has publicized the Class 10th result, thru online mode. Candidates who had written the board exams, can get their detailed marks sheet and download them, by filling the required candidate’s credentials, from the official websites - sebaonline.org and resultsassam.nic.in
Compared to 2022, there is a remarkable improvement of 14% in 2023 results. As per the official declared details, in 2023, in total 4,15,324 candidates appeared the HSLC board exams, out of which 3,01,880 candidates passed successfully. The overall students passing percentage stands at 72.69%. In the passing percentage, boys achieved 74.71% and girls scored 70.96%.
Additionally, the performance highlights of 3.02 lakh students passed, sums-up with 0.95 passing in first division, 1.48 lakhs in second division and remaining 0.48 lakhs passing in third division. These results marks a significant milestone in their educational career.
Students had displayed grit, despite disruptions in transition from online learning to classroom teachings. All the candidates had put their hard work and dedication as the results highlight their exceptional achievement. Hridam Thakuria of Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli, in Sonitpur district, emerged as top scorer, attaining an impressive 596 out of 600 marks.

Admission to Class 11 after HSLC Result 2023
After the announcement of the Class 10th results, typically after few weeks, the students can get their original mark sheets and certificates at their respective schools. Students who had passed Class 10th will be eligible for admission into Class 11. Qualified students can apply for Class 11 admissions, by even submitting a soft copy of the Class 10th results.
